Welcome to LightMyth

LightMyth is a light-weight MythTV frontend application written in Python. It is designed for live-TV playback and has no PVR features.
In a very unscientific test, the LightMyth radio frontend took 3% of the processor time and 22.5% of the memory compared to the official Mythfrontend when playing back a radio channel.

Today version 0.5 of LightMyth has been released. Audio-only playback of radio channels is stable, but TV support is still experimental. Note that this release is not very polished or intended for end users - please test and report bugs!
